The History of Iris
Analysis
References to the eye in relationship to health date back thousands of
years. Current Iridology information has evolved from Hungarian and
Swedish physicians observations from the late 1800's. The first book in
America was published in 1904, written by an emigrated Austrian doctor.
This was followed by the works of other naturopathic oriented MD's. These
approaches declined in later years due to the shift away from natural
medicine practices. A resurgence or interest is now occurring as people
search for other approaches to health and healing.
In Europe, medical research
has been carried out for many years by following patients through
diagnostic testing and ultimately autopsy to correlate findings. As with
other alternative practices, Iridology enjoys a greater acceptance there.
Now you have the opportunity to experience the benefits from this
remarkable technique.
The Window of the Body
A person's eyes are referred to as the "window of
the body." Eyes provide a wealth of information. Iridology is the
science and practice of analyzing the iris which is the most complex
tissue structure in the human anatomy. There is a complicated relationship
and interaction between the brain and nerve filaments and muscle fibers
all carrying messages through the iris of the eyes. Iridology reveals the
presence of tissue inflammation in the body, where it is located and the
stage to which it has progressed. Iridology does not name disease,
but can see conditions developing long before there are symptoms to which
a disease name is attached.
No Two Are Alike
Look closely at your eyes in the mirror. You will see
certain patterns of your iris color and structure. Like our faces or
fingerprints, no two irises are exactly alike and neither are our bodies.
By understanding this "road map of your individual characteristics, your
present and future health care can be approached more efficiently.
If you have current health
challenges, Iris Analysis can target contributing factors to these
problems. Once identified, corrective measures can be employed, providing
you with an opportunity to get better faster! Because the iris can also
reveal the potential for future health risks, preventative measures can be
applied to reduce these risks.
Successful treatment requires
holistic health practices, herbal food programs as well as diet and
possible lifestyle changes. Nutrient deficiencies and toxic accumulations
in specific parts of the body are two basic conditions which give rise to
disease. Iridology can reveal the problems and start you on the way to
good health.
